Bathroom Furniture!

via Traditional Home

via House Beautiful

We have been looking for bathroom inspiration over the past week for an upcoming project. I came across these images in my files and thought how lovely it would be to have a bathroom large enough for furniture. Maybe in my next house! Sorry about our lack of posts - there aren't enough hours in the day some weeks! Happy new week to you all!

Getting Outdoors!

Australian House and Garden
After all the rain we have had in Brisbane this week, I'm hoping for a bit of sunshine to enjoy the beautiful Autumn sunshine this weekend. Hope you all have a happy weekend!

Natural Elements!

I've just found another website that I can waste hours looking at all the great pictures. All of the following pics are from the same home which is featured on the website www.content-agency.com. I stumbled across this after finding a beautiful new blog called Being Ruby who featured another home - gorgeous. There are so many amazing features in this home but the ones that stands out the most for me are all the natural elements the owners have incorporated such as marble, stone, timber and metal. There are numerous outdoor spaces to relax in as well which is always a winner with me.

As you can see, I got a little carried away because I couldn't choose which ones not to include!

What a week!

I'm so ready for the weekend! It's been such a full week - trying to fit 5 days of work into 4 (with the public holiday). Well I have to admit I did the bare minimum on my birthday so I shouldn't complain. Thanks for all your lovely birthday wishes and your kind comments and emails about our work. Happy weekend! I am posting this room by Celerie Kemble (one of my favourite designers) because its so fresh and calm and I just love it. Tracey xx

Devine Inspiration!

As promised, here is one of our latest Porchlight projects. We had the bedhead and cushions made up in the gorgeous Michael Devine Combray in Leaf for the bedhead, and Sutton in Leaf for the cushions. We couldn't have been happier with the end result. Fabric available through Oliveaux.

Sweet sister

Happy Birthday Tracey!!
It's my dear sisters birthday and we have been celebrating at various places all over Brisbane. She is the most fabulous chic you will ever meet. I can honestly say, that never does a day go by that she doesn't have me in stitches of laughter.
Cupcake from the cupcake company here in Brisbane. I am yet to try one of these delectable pieces of cupcake art

Heavenly Long Weekend!

Looking forward to a long weekend even though there won't be much relaxing going on! On Sunday we will be painting and putting up our new fence and on Monday we are having my son's 10th birthday party - lots of 10 year old boys playing video games and eating pizza (sounds noisy)! The above photo I found on flickr and its inspiration for updating my kidney shaped pool - still need to decide on my pavers (there's another job for the weekend). Hope you all enjoy whatever you are doing this weekend and we will catch you next week with some photos of our latest project. Tracey xx
